The research's statistical population would consist of all the farmers in Abdanan city (N=7931). Using the Cochran's sampling formula, 98 individuals were selected as the sample. In order to enhance the validity of findings, a total of 120 questionnaires were distributed using stratified random sampling, with proportionate … and finally, 115 ones were completed and analyzed. The research’s main instrument was a questionnaire whose viability by a panel of experts and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's ALPHA coefficient (α>0.7). Data analysis was carried out by the software SPSSwin18. The results showed that the study farmers apply sustainably farming operations at a low and moderate level. Additionally, the results indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between the application of sustainably farming operations with the variables of farming-work experience, literacy, use of communicative media, attitude to sustainably farming, knowledge and awareness of sustainably farming, participation in educational courses of extension, and use of educational publications. Initially, a deterministic mixed integer programming model is provided, and then the robust model based on using a scenario-based approach (two-step) is developed. The network design problem, including assumptions such as: multi-product, multi-echelon and single-period. Considering a situation of instability of the economic situation, the uncertainty has been considered in a different way from previous papers. The unstable economic conditions affect the demand and prices of raw materials and fuel; as a result, demand and total costs of production and transportation parameters in the problem are uncertain. The Proposed model is also considers the release rate of greenhouse gas production and transportation systems in the chain and tries to reduce it by providing an objective function at a time. With the growing worldwide awareness of environmental protection and the corresponding increase in legislation and regulations, green supply chain management (GSCM) has become an important issue for companies to gain environmental sustainability. Manufacturing industries started adopting the green concept in their supply chain management recently to focus on environmental issues. But, industries still struggle to identify barriers hindering green supply chain management implementation. Now, many companies have begun to implement GSCM to consider environmental issues and the measurement of their suppliers’ environmental performance. The GSCM literature has focused on helping suppliers improve their environmental performance by asking them to acquire certifications or implement green practices and have emerged as a way for firms to achieve profit and market share objectives by lowering environmental impacts and increasing ecological efficiency. This work focuses on identifying barriers to the implementation of GSCM in Iranian industries. A total of 20 barriers were identified, both through detailed literature and discussion with industrial experts.
